Dr. Nishant has completed MBBS from SSR Medical college, Mauritius, followed by good rank in All India Post Graduate Examination, started his career in profoundly attentive MD Pediatrics from prestigious medical collge of entire Saurastra and Kutch region MP SHAH medical college and Guru Govindsinh general hospital (previously known as IRWIN hospital in Jamnagar).
During his persuing course in pediatrics, he has observed, majority of children suffering from cancer and any hematology issues, has to travel all the way around 450 to 500 km for their diagnosis and many times more for regular treatment and follow-ups, which drain family's physical, emotional, social and financial sound status, then decided to pursue in career of hemat and oncology practise dedicated to treating little ones. He has completed Indian academy of Pediatric accredited fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, followed by observership from AIIMS, New Delhi.
About Hospital
Situated in very prime and easily found location at 150 ft ring road of Rajkot, situated at 6th floor of building from noises and pollution to have excellent ways of having direct exposure to sunlight and adequate ventilation to provide less chances of getting infection cause healing power of nature gets along treating our little ones suffering from cancers. Each child/family has their own individual room with full length sliding windows, air conditioned, television, washroom and shower facilities.
Hospital has play space for children, a separate room for performing minor as well major procedures, very well trained and enthusiastic staff for chemotherapy preparation, disposal and monitoring of child. Centralized fire safety with smoke detector and water sprinkles, fire extinguishers to keep child and family safe if any fire outbreak happens.

Our Facilities
Day care chemotherapy
Child gets admitted for scheduled chemotherapy in morning hours, receives chemo through veins, receives blood product support if required any, and then discharges in evening. Whole chemotherapy cab be completed in couple of hours of day time. Majority of children go through this kind of chemotherapy in their schedule.
Bone Marrow Aspiration and Biopsy
Child may need to undergo a procedure, where we insert a needle into your back bone called as posterior superior iliac spine, and we withdraw some of bone marrow material which are in liquid state and spread then to glass slides, at the same time we perform taking a biopsy sample which means core of bone marrow of approximately 1 cm through same whole and needle. We give light sedation to all kids who undergoes this procedure, so child feels no pain, sample can be acquired very easy and at exact location, no post procedure pain or discomfort to child.
Admissions for Chemotherapy
Certain cancers, child has to stay for chemotherapy dosage for couple of days and therapy given in veins for majority hours of a day, it depends upon type of cancers and protocols we follow.
Intrathecal Chemotherapy
Many cancers child gets chemotherapy treatment though bones of back – called intrathecal space – in between two vertebral bodies and in cerebro spinal fluid(CSF). Younger little ones may need light sedation and adolescent child usually preferred without sedation, We keep child in fasting state for approximately 3 to 4 hours and than go for light sedation, so child received treatment without any pain and discomfort.
Blood Product Support
Child may require some support of blood, platelets, fresh frozen plasma and cryoprecipitate depending upon child’s requirement and indications according to different diseases.
